Germany, Romania inspectors to make TOS observation flight over Russia

Russian specialists on board the plane will monitor compliance with the use of observation instrumentation and systems in accordance with the Treaty provisions

MOSCOW, July 1 (Itar-Tass) - A group of inspectors of Germany and Romania will make an observation flight aboard a Romanian plane An-30 in a period from July 1 to 6 under the international Treaty on Open Skies (TOS), an official in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defence told Itar-Tass on Monday.

"During the flight along an agreed route, Russian specialists on board the plane will monitor compliance with the use of observation instrumentation and systems in accordance with the Treaty provisions," the press service official said.
