MAKHACHKALA, June 27 (Itar-Tass) - Two militants were killed and four special task force police were wounded in a shootout in the village of Khutrakh, Tsuntinsky district, Dagestan.
"On Wednesday evening, law-enforcement agents detected two armed men in a house in the outskirts of the village. The house was blocked. During the negotiations, one of the militants threw a grenade, wounding four special task force police officers. The gunmen were destroyed in the clash," local police said.
At daybreak, police began to inspect the house where the militants had hidden.
