MOSCOW, June 26 (Itar-Tass) - President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday will attend a traditional reception held in the Kremlin in honour of the graduates of military academies and military universities, the presidential press service reported.
The Head of State will also address a founding congress of an all-Russia youth public organization, the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia. Those present at the congress will adopt a charter and form the Association's governing bodies.
The principal purpose of the new association will be to develop mass student sports, as well as arrange competitions and events aimed at popularizing youth sports and a healthy way of life.
In January 2013, Putin, during a working meeting in the Kremlin with representatives of student sports clubs, agreed with a proposal made by the initiative group to head the Association's Board of Trustees.
