Four hurt in household gas explosion in Dagestan

MOSCOW, June 10 (Itar-Tass) - Four persons, including one child, were hurt in a household gas explosion in a residential house in Russia’s North Caucasian republic of Dagestan, a spokesman for the republican emergencies department told Itar-Tass on Monday.

According to the spokesman, the accident took place at about 10:00 a.m. Moscow time on Monday in the settlement of Khasavyurt. The explosion was caused by a gas leak. The injured persons were taken to hospital. Rescue operations are underway.
