GENEVA, June 5 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s Foreign Ministry delegation has met U.N./LAS Special Envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi, a source at the Russian delegation told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
The Russian delegation is represented by deputies foreign minister, Mikhail Bodganov and Gennady Gatilov. The talks have been held ahead of the tripartite meeting on preparing the conference on Syria. It should start in Geneva shortly with the participation of the Russian and U.S. diplomats, as well as U.N. representatives, the source said.
