Three new deaths from coronavirus infection recorded in Saudi Arabia

The Health Ministry also noted that two of them were suffering from chronic diseases

ABU DHABI, June 2 (Itar-Tass) - Three new cases of death from coronavirus infection have been registered in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Health of the Arabian kingdom reported on Sunday that the three lethal cases were among the 38 people who had respiratory syndrome caused by the Middle East coronavirus (MERS-CoV).

The Health Ministry also noted that two of them were suffering from chronic diseases. Thus, the total number of victims of the disease in Saudi Arabia has reached 24 people.

According to the World Health Organisation, on Saturday, 30 deaths and 51 cases of infection with the new virus were confirmed as a result of laboratory tests.
