Fireman injured in fighting fire at plant in Bashkortostan dies

The fireman has got a cranial wound of the pieces of the exploded gas cylinder and was taken to the hospital in coma

UFA, May 28 (Itar-Tass) - A 31-year-old commander of a fire-fighting unit of the fire depot that was injured in fighting the fire at the plant Monomer in Bashkortostan died overnight to Tuesday, the press service of the main Ministry of Emergency Situations department in Bashkortostan told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

“When localizing the fire the fireman was cooling down a metallic building trailer. He did not have the information that the gas cylinders could have been inside the trailer,” the press service reported.

The fireman has got a cranial wound of the pieces of the exploded gas cylinder and was taken to the hospital in coma. The doctors were fighting for his life, but failed to save him. He died without regaining consciousness. The demised fireman had the wife and a four-year-old child.
