Blast goes off on way of bus with border guards in Derbent, no casualties

The bus burnt down, the crime scene is fenced off, the team of detectives is working at the blast site

MAKHACHKALA, May 28 (Itar-Tass) - A blast went off on the way of a shuttle bus with the border guards in the Dagestani city Derbent on Tuesday. According to the preliminary reports, no casualties were reported. “A homemade explosive device, which was planted in a car VAZ-2107 on the roadside, was detonated at about 07:00 Moscow time in Salman Street,” the republican Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

The bus caught fire as a result of the blast, but the border guards succeeded to get out of the bus timely. The windows of the bus were broken from the explosion, several people have got the cuts with pieces of glass. No border guards were seriously wounded, the republican Interior Ministry pledged.
