One person hurt in fire at oil refinery in Bashkortostan

According to the emergencies ministry, there is no threat to the population

MOSCOW, May 27 (Itar-Tass) - One person was hurt in a fire that broke out at an oil refinery in Russia’s republic of Bashkortostan, a spokesman for the Russian emergencies ministry told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“A fire was reported from the butyl alcohol shop of the oil refinery in the city of Salavat at 15:30 Moscow time,” the spokesman said,

Fire fighting operations involve about 50 men.

According to the emergencies ministry, there is no threat to the population.
