“A 35-year-old fireman has broken his hand,” a source in the Moscow law enforcement agencies said. The doctors gave the aid to him at the spot.
A pavilion of the building material market Melnitsa caught fire at 16:57 Moscow time on Monday at the 41st kilometre of the external side of the Moscow Ring Road, at first the fire area has made 400 square metres, but the fire was spreading quickly and engulfed 1,700 square metres.
“The fire was localized at 19:26 Moscow time,” the ministry said.
The fire was ranked at the second point in the five-point fire scale.
Two helicopters Ka-32, which are equipped with special water spray tanks and about 20 fire brigades were involved in the fire-fighting.
