MOSCOW, May 18 (Itar-Tass) - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Moscow from July 1-2, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Reza Sajjadi said on Saturday.
The summit of gas exporting countries will take place in Moscow on July 1 and 2, the diplomat said. Iran is invited. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has agreed. He said he would arrive.
Though presidential elections will be held in Iran on June 14, Ahmadinejad will remain president of Iran by the time of the Moscow visit, the ambassador explained.
