Dmitry Medvedev hopes that Russia and Vietnam to adjust more than 20 major investment projects

The Russian prime minister consider energy as the most important sphere of the cooperation with Vietnam

MOSCOW, May 14 (Itar-Tass) - Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev hopes that Russia and Vietnam will do their utmost to finalise the list of more than 20 major investment projects.

During his Tuesday’s meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Medvedev said, “We are hopeful, that we will manage to finalise the list of the more than 20 top priority investment projects. They have to embrace a wide range of various spheres, including tourism, machine building and the setting up of new industrial facilities in the Far East and Siberia.”

Medvedev consider energy as the most important sphere of the Russian-Vietnamese cooperation. The Russian prime minister declared that he is glad to the intensive development of cooperation in this sphere, including that in the atomic energy industry. He also voiced hope that the atomic energy cooperation between the two countries will not be limited by only the aid in the construction of the nuclear power plant, but will be continued by the creation of the relevant infrastructure.
