SEVASTOPOL, May 13 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s naval task force made up of ships from the Black Sea, Baltic and Northern Fleets will set off on a long journey this summer or autumn to hone combat skills in the Atlantic until October.

During the voyage, the task force will call in seaports of several Latin American countries, Navy Deputy Commander in Chief, Vice Admiral Alexander Fedotenkov told ITAR-TASS on Monday, May 13.

“We are working on the summer training programme, which will include routine combat duties in the Black and Mediterranean Seas as well as participation of Black Sea Fleet ships, led by its flagship, missile cruiser Moskva, jointly with the ships of the Baltic and Northern Fleets in combat training exercises in the Atlantic,” he said.
