BARNAUL, May 10 (Itar-Tass) - A gale in the Altai territory has left without electricity about 23,000, the regional branch of Russia’s EMERCOM said on Friday.
Rescuers say affected are 72 settlements in the territory’s 13 municipal districts. The main reason is the gale, which caused overlaps of the wires.
The local forecast expects a strong wind of up to 27 metres a second.
