MOSCOW, May 10 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will meet in Sochi on Friday the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister David Cameron, who is arriving in Russia on a short working visit.

The presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told Itar-Tass “no doubt, a key topic would be Syria as the situation there develops very complicated.”

“Of course, the negotiations will also focus on bilateral relations,” he added.

Earlier, David Cameron told the UK parliament he wanted to discuss with Putin the Syrian conflict.

The previous meeting between Putin and Cameron was in August of the previous year during London’s Olympic Games, and the meeting on Friday will take place in Sochi, which prepares to host the Winter Games in 2014. During the meeting in London, Cameron said the UK was ready to share experience in organisation of the Games with Russia.

The talks in Sochi are most probable to open a series of meetings between Putin and Cameron. The two leaders will meet again in about a month’s time during the G-8 summit, which the UK will host on June 17-18; and in September they will meet in St. Petersburg during the G-20 summit.
