MOSCOW, May 7 (Itar-Tass) - Two people were found dead at the crash site of a helicopter Mi-8 in the Irkutsk Region on Tuesday, head of the information department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations Oleg Voronov told Itar-Tass.

“Two people were found dead at the crash site of the helicopter during the search operation on the ice of the river today. We are taking the measures to evacuate them,” he underlined.

The works at the crash site of the helicopter Mi-8 continue. The team of detectives and the specialists from the Interstate Aviation Committee will arrive at the crash site to take investigative actions.

The helicopter was carrying nine people, namely six emergency workers, including the acting head of the regional main Ministry of Emergency Situations department and three crewmembers.
