MOSCOW, May 1 (Itar-Tass) - Police will toughen security during more than week-long May holidays all over Russia, the law enforcement bodies told Itar-Tass.
According to preliminary estimates, “over 200,000 police will be engaged to ensure law and order.”
“By tradition aside from policemen and servicemen of the Interior Troops Cossacks, volunteers and students of law enforcement institutions will be attracted to ensure security,” the source said.
Around 10,000 policemen in Moscow alone will fulfil their duties during the May holidays.
