MOSCOW, April 27 (Itar-Tass) - Nobody else, but the Russian state has the right to present rebukes against Russian citizens, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev said during the meeting with reporters and Interior Ministry officials whose names are included in the "Magnitsky list".
As for any sanctions of other states, I think the Russian Federation has experienced various development stages and will go through the sanctions," he said, adding with regret that the sanctions had nothing in common with positive and mutually beneficial cooperation.
"If there are any complaints against our citizens, our state itself has the right to present the complaints in accordance with the present legislation, but nobody else from outside," the minister said.
Any non-court decisions in accordance with the Russian Federation’s legislation and the Constitution are not acts to declare some or other sanctions against Russian citizens. "Any decisions of other foreign states toward our citizens must not have and will not have any legal consequences for citizens of our country," Kolokoltsev stressed.
