MOSCOW, April 24 (Itar-Tass) - "Belgorod gunman" Sergei Pomazun has refused to give evidence, the press service of the Investigative Committee /SK/ told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

"He was questioned as charged offender in the presence of a lawyer, but he refused to give evidence, referring to Article 51 of the Constitution /which allows not to testify against oneself or one's relatives/, the SK said.

Police are continuing to gather and preserve evidence in the case and seek the stolen weapons.
