Two more criminal cases opened over Belgorod massacre

The cases were pooled with the previous criminal case over the murder of six persons

MOSCOW, April 23 (Itar-Tass) – Investigators are questioning relatives of the man suspected of shooting and killing six Belgoroders, an official at the Investigative Committee /SK/ told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"Eye-witnesses of the crime have already been identified; they will be questioned shortly. Also, police are questioning relatives of /suspect/ Sergei Pomazun, and the information about his personality is being gathered and examined. The investigators have retrieved and are now examining the records from CCTV cameras installed near the scene of crime," the SK said.

After an inspection of the scene – the Okhota shop – and the apartment in which Sergei Pomazun lived where a weapons safe was found broken open, criminal cases were opened under Article 226, Part1 /theft of weapon and ammunition/ and Article 226, Part 4 /theft of weapons and ammunition, and use of violence dangerous to life and health/.
