MOSCOW, April 16 (Itar-Tass) – The Schneerson library may be passed to the Jewish Museum and the Centre of Tolerance in Moscow before the end of this year, Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky told reporters about this forecast here on Tuesday.

He reiterated that the library is Russia’s property and there is no problem for the library’s transfer in property of the Hassidic Jews.

The minister recalled that it was decided to pass the Schneerson library from the Russian State Library in the Centre of Tolerance. “The Centre of Tolerance is under repairs now. The protocol is signed, under which the library will be passed in this centre, when the repairs is over. All the conditions should be created there, primarily, the temperature conditions, and bullet-proof windows should be installed,” Medinsky underlined.
