The deputy defense ministers of Russia and the USA are resuming the missile defense dialogue

MOSCOW, April 16 (Itar-Tass) – The deputy defense ministers of Russia and the USA are resuming the missile defense dialogue, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

"On Monday, on the sidelines of the meeting in the Kremlin between President Barack Obama's National Security Advisor Thomas Danilon and Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, my U.S. colleague Jim Miller and I considered the possibility and expediency of our meeting in Brussels on April 30, backed by military delegations," he said.

"The U.S. colleagues are expected to elaborate on the changes in the U.S. plans in the area of missile defense, namely their giving up the 4th phase of deploying the missile defense system in Europe," Antonov said.
