SMOLENSK, April 15 (Itar-Tass) - The Smolensk police are searching for a woman, who is suspected of involvement in the kidnapping of the newborn girl from the first city hospital overnight to Monday.
The press service of the Smolensk regional police department reported the identity kit of the suspected kidnapper. The police reported that she is “25-30 years old by appearance, 160-165 centimetres high, full-bodied, with dark hair and dark eyes; was wearing blue jeans and a beige jacket.”
All the police staff was ordered to search for a newborn, the relatives and people probably involved in the kidnapping are being investigated. The search teams were formed to search through the residential sector, and all vehicles arriving in Smolensk are being checked.
The report about the kidnapping of the child came in the alert force of the Smolensk regional police department. The mother of the kidnapped girl, who was born on April 9, refused from the child after the delivery and escaped from the hospital.
