MOSCOW, April 15 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office exposed one more embezzlement episode in the joint stock society Resorts of the North Caucasus.
The inquiry found that the Resorts of the North Caucasus handed over its functions to prepare for the construction to the founding company that is a Cypriot company. Meanwhile, this company passed its right to fulfil the pre-construction works worth of one billion roubles to another legal entity, spokesperson of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office Marina Gridneva told Itar-Tass on Monday.
As a result, the remuneration was paid to an outside organization to the tune of over 275 million roubles, Gridneva noted.
The criminal materials were passed in the investigative bodies to decide on the opening of a criminal case for a massive fraud.
