MOSCOW, April 15 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Nicolas Maduro on his victory in the presidential election in Venezuela, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday.

In his congratulatory message, the Russian president expressed confidence that “Under Maduro’s leadership Venezuela will make further steps to strengthen strategic partnership with Russia and reiterated Russia’s readiness for further development of a constructive dialogue on the entire spectrum of bilateral and international issues in the interests of both states and nations.”
