BRUSSELS, April 14 (Itar-Tass) - Russian basketball team “Lokomotiv-Kuban” is the Eurocup 2012-2013 Champion after defeating Spanish Bilbao 75:64/16:17, 22:13, 16:15, 21:19/ in Belgian Charleroi. The match was watched by 3,862 spectators.
Lokomotiv-Kuban is the fourth Russian team to win this major Eurocup tournament. Russian athletes are the winners for the third consecutive year. Three Russian teams had won the trophy in previous years: Dynamo (Moscow) in 2006, UNIKS (Kazan) in 2011 and Khimki (near Moscow) in 2012.
