MAKHACHKALA, Dagestan, April 12 (Itar-Tass) - A powerful explosion has hit Buinaksk. The bomb went off on Tsiolkovsky Street at around 21:00 Moscow time. Lethal casualties have been reported among servicemen and law enforcers. Some of them are wounded.
A republican Interior Ministry source told Itar-Tass that the bomb had exploded at around 21:00 Moscow time in a building where the military and law enforcers were on duty. The number of the dead and wounded is being established.
Bomb technicians and investigators are working at the blast scene.
