Russian prime minister urges to create conditions to provide jobs to mothers of minors

Apart from that, he called to continue support to families with two and more children

MOSCOW, April 12 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has urged to create conditions to provide jobs to mothers of minors.

“Please look at possibilities to provide jobs to women who have small children,” he said at a board meeting of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. It is inadmissible when families where one of the parents is on a parental leave find themselves in strained conditions because of a dramatic drop in revenues, he stressed and added that conditions should be created to make it possible for women to combine work and baby-sitting.

Apart from that, he called to continue support to families with two and more children. Since January 2013, fifty Russian regions have paying additional allowances for a third and each subsequent child until they reach three year of age.
