VLADIKAVKAZ, April 10 (Itar-Tass) – An anti-terrorist operation began in forest areas close to the administrative border of North Ossetia with Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia, the operations headquarters of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania said on Wednesday.
The operation will last until further orders are received.
The operation takes place in the forest areas adjacent to the villages of Stary Batako and Razdzog to detect and liquidate militants’ gangs, prevent terror acts that may be plotted and protect vital facilities.
Over the past two months several anti-terrorist operations have already been conducted on the administrative border of North Ossetia.
