Thirteen cars collide in Moscow, injuring five people

Rescuers had to cut out one of the victims from the car

MOSCOW, April 4 (Itar-Tass) – Five people were injured as 13 cars, including trucks, collided in Moscow, a Moscow law enforcement source told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

According to him, the accident occurred at a crossing of Yuzhnoportovaya Street and Moscow’s Third Transport Ring.

“Ten light cars and three trucks collided. As a result, five people were hurt,” the source said. He added that rescuers had to cut out one of the victims from the car.

Road traffic inspectors are trying to establish the accident’s cause.
