SEOUL, April 4 (Itar-Tass) - North Korea has moved the mid-range Musudan missile to the east coast of the East Sea (the Sea of Japan) in the country, South Korean and US intelligence sources reported on Thursday.
It is unclear yet whether these mid-range missiles have the warheads and whether North Korea intends to launch them or it is just a show of force by Pyongyang, a source in the South Korean government commented on the issue.
The North Korean mid-range missiles Musudan has a flight range of over 3,000 kilometres that permits the country to hit the targets in South Korea and Japan. It is not ruled out that these missiles can reach the Guam Island in the Pacific.
North Korea did not conduct the test-launches of these missiles yet.
North Korea has earlier threatened the United States and South Korea with military actions, particularly with the use of the nuclear weapons.
