Moscow businessman robbed of 20 million roubles

Five unidentified men attacked him at around 16:00 MT, shot him in the leg and took away his bag with money

MOSCOW, April 3 (Itar-Tass) – Unidentified persons robbed a businessman of 20 million roubles /approximately 645,000 U.S. dollars/ in central Moscow on Wednesday, city police told Itar-Tass.

"Five unidentified men attacked the businessman near House 41 in Lyusinovskaya Street at around 16:0; Moscow time. They shot him in the leg and took away his bag with money. The robbers fled in a Mercedes and a Mitsubishi," a police source said.

Police have launched a manhunt for the attackers. The press service of city police confirmed the robbery, noting that a group of detectives was working at the scene.
