PERM, April 3 (Itar-Tass) – Two men in Perm have been charged with the murder of schoolgirl, the regional department of the Investigative Committee /SK/ told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
"Today, two Perm residents with previous criminal convictions have been charged with rape and murder of an underage person," the SK said.
Anastasia Smetanina, 14, went for a walk with her classmate on March 4 afternoon and did not return home. The investigator said the girl had walked into a horse stable in the Razgulyai neighborhood to get warm in the evening. Two workers there raped the girl. "When the schoolgirl regained consciousness, she said she would report them to police. Fearing exposure, the men killed the girl and hid her body behind the stable," the SK said.
The suspects are under arrest for the period of the investigation.
