Alexander Sokurov's film Faust wins 2012 nat'l cinema award Nika

The film has been also commended for the best directing

MOSCOW, April 3 (Itar-Tass) - Alexander Sokurov's film Faust has won the 2012 Nika Award, the oldest national cinema prize. This was announced here early Wednesday at the 26th award presentation ceremony at the Moscow Operetta Theatre by Andrei Konchalovsky, new president of the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences.

The film has been also commended for the best directing.
