Officials should close foreign accounts by July 1, 2013 – Head of the RF presidential administration

This rule also applies to managers of state companies

MOSCOW, April 2 (Itar-Tass) – By July 1, 2013 Russian officials and heads of state-run companies should get rid of their foreign accounts, head of the RF presidential administration Sergei Ivanov told journalists on Tuesday.

“If a person (official) has foreign accounts, we give them three months to get rid of them,” he said, adding that this rule also applies to managers of state companies.
