Rogozin to discuss at KAMAZ supplies of Russian-made hardware to Armed Forces

The meeting will feature Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, local officials, heads of Russia’s industrial and other companies

KAZAN, April 2 (Itar-Tass) - Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who is arriving in Naberezhnye Chelny on Tuesday, will discuss there supplies of Russian-made hardware to the Armed Forces, press service of Tatarstan’s head reports.

Dmitry Rogozin together with Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov will visit the assembly, forging, casting, and other manufacturing plants of the KAMAZ Automobile Association.

The delegation will see the latest and future models of KAMAZ, samples of hardware, including Taifun armoured car, heavy sided trucks with armoured cabins, trucks, tractors and others.

On Tuesday, in the afternoon, Rogozin will chair in Naberezhnye Chelny a meeting of the Council of the governmental defence-industrial commission. The agenda will include supplies and development of the hardware systems for the Army, the Airborne Troops, the Navy’s Marine Corps, and for Russian Interior Ministry.
