MOSCOW, March 30 (Itar-Tass) - Russia hopes the situation on the Korean Peninsula will not cross the dangerous line, behind which there will be no return, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s ambassador-at-large Grigory Logvinov, the head of the Russian delegation for the six-nation talks, told Itar-Tass on Saturday.
"We cannot remain indifferent to what is happening near our eastern borders,” the diplomat said, noting that tension was increasing there and threatening statements were heard every day.
At the same time, large-scale military exercises take place in the South with the participation of strategic bombers, Logvinov noted.
"We hope all the parties will show maximum responsibility and restraint and nobody will cross over the dangerous line, behind which there will be no return,” the diplomat noted.
"We maintain contacts with the partners in the Group of Six. All seek to prevent the situation from getting beyond the politico-diplomatic bounds," he said.
