First fifth generation jet to enter duty in Russian Air Force 2016

According to earlier reports Russia’s Air Force was to get the first jet fighter of this type in 2015

LANGKAWI ISLAND, Malaysia, March 28 (Itar-Tass) – The first front-line aviation complex, also known as a fifth generation jet, will enter duty in Russia’s Air Force in 2016, the Air Force commander-in-chief, Viktor Bondarev, told the media at the LIMA-2013 exhibition.

According to earlier reports Russia’s Air Force was to get the first jet fighter of this type in 2015.

Bondarev said the fifth generation fighter’s model was shown to Malaysia’s prime minster, who took great interest in this aviation technology, ARMS-TASS reports.
