KEMEROVO, March 28 (Itar-Tass) – Rescuers have found one miner dead in the Osinnikovskaya mine in the Kemerovo Region, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry’s (EMERCOM) main department for the region told Itar-Tass.
“The mine worker was killed. He was found at the emergency section, drift 68,” the department said, noting that the fate of three other miners remains unknown.
On March 26, due to the flooding of a mine course 139 people were evacuated, three of them were injured. A preliminary probe is conducted over the accident, on the results of which a procedural decision will be taken.
