KRASNOYARSK, March 22 (Itar-Tass) - An area of 400 sq m is afire in a shop of the harvesting machine building plant in central Krasnoyarsk. Three combines are burning, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Krasnoyarsk regional department told Itar-Tass, citing the updated information. Earlier it was reported that 2,000 sq m were afire.
Nobody was hurt, the press service said.
The fire broke out at the combine building plant at 09:40 local time (05:40 Moscow time) on Friday.
The Tractor Plants company, the owner of the plant, in February decided to transfer the combine production from Siberia to Chuvashia. According to the company's official information, the plant will be closed until the end of 2013.
