MOSCOW, March 19 (Itar-Tass) – Construction workers have injured an underground pipeline near Arbat street, in Central Moscow to cause a fire, police sources told Itar-Tass.
The incident occurred in Gagarin pereulok. An earth moving machine hit a gas pipe and the escaping gas caught fire.
“The flame is five meters tall. Emergency Ministry workers are pulling away the cars parked nearby and take measures to eliminate the blaze,” the source said, adding there were no casualties.
