Fire extinguished in orphanage near Irkutsk, none hurt

IRKUTSK, March 16 (Itar-Tass) - A fire broke out in an orphanage in the city of Shelekov, the Irkutsk Region, on Saturday. The blaze was promptly extinguished by rescuers.

The fire broke out at 11:10 Moscow time (16:10 local time) on 50 sq m, the Emergencies Ministry's press service said.

One hundred and ten children and seven staff workers were evacuated.

The blaze was extinguished at 11:35. Nobody was hurt.

There was no immediate information about the cause of the fire.
