MOSCOW, March 14 (Itar-Tass) – Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation has warmly congratulated Xi Jinping on his election as President of China and wished him success in his work on this responsible state post, the Kremlin press service reported.
The sides “expressed satisfaction with the development of strategic partnership relations between Russia and China, emphasised the interest in further expansion of cooperation in all spheres, as well as in the strengthening of interaction in the international arena,” the press service said.
The RF President and Chinese President called for maintaining personal contacts. “In this connection they noted the importance of the Chinese leader’s upcoming state visit to Moscow,” the Kremlin reported.
