ORENBURG, March 14 (Itar-Tass) – Five children and two adults were hospitalized after a major road accident in the Orenburg Region, the press service of the regional emergency situation department told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The road accident occurred on the Orsk-Yasny highway on Thursday, the press service said. A ZIL truck collided with the bus, which was transporting the children.
“The road accident occurred near the village Krylovka. The bus was trafficking 14 children born in 2001-2002, three supervisors for a football competition from the town Yasny to the town Gai,” the press service said.
The task force of the Federal Fire Service and a fire truck rushed to the road accident site.
“The children and the adults were brought to the hospital in the city Orsk for a medical examination. According to preliminary reports, five children and two adults were injured,” the press service said.
