Over 14,000 jobs to be created for disabled in Russia in 2013-2015

Such jobs will be created in each and every Russian region

MOSCOW, March 13 (Itar-Tass) – About 14,200 specialized jobs will be created in Russia in 2013-2015 for people with disabilities, a Russian labor ministry official said on Wednesday.

“With a view of creating new jobs in Russian regions, measures will be taken to provide jobs to people with disabilities and provide necessary equipment for such jobs,” Svetlana Nechayeva, the director of the ministry’s employment department, said at the Russian Public Chamber hearings. Federal budget subsidies to regional budget for these purposes will reach 792.5 million roubles in 2013, 918.7 million roubles in 2014, and 963.7 million roubles in 2015. According to Nechayeva, an average 66,200 roubles are needed to equip one workplace for a disabled person.

She stressed that such jobs will be created in each and every Russian region.
