MOSCOW, March 13 (Itar-Tass) – Moscow will host a regular Russian Government-EU meeting on March 21-22, the press service of the Russian government said on Wednesday.
“The meeting will review comprehensively Russia-EU relations with special emphasis on cooperation in energy, trade, industry, transport, science and education,” the press service said.
It added that “the agenda would include visa liberalization, cooperation in such areas as freedom, security and justice and implementation of the joint Partnership for Modernization initiative.”
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso will participate in the conference entitled Russia-EU: Partnership Opportunities, organized by the Russian Council for International Affairs.
The previous Russia-EU meeting was held in Brussels on February 24, 2011.
