M-53 Baikal federal highway open for traffic

The traffic accidents happened not far from Krasnoyarsk

  KRASNOYARSK, March 10 (Itar-Tass) – The M-53 Baikal federal highway in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is opened for all kinds of transport, including for commuter buses, local branch of EMERCOM reported.

Several hours earlier the highway’s part was closed for buses because of a stormy wind and zero visibility, there were several traffic accidents, the regional traffic police told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

The traffic accidents happened not far from Krasnoyarsk.

“At the 15th kilometre of the Yenisey road, six cars got in accidents, and another six cars got in an accident near Cheremshanka airport,” the traffic police said. “Several accidents involving nine vehicles happened at the 803rd kilometre of M-53 highway, where five people addressed for medical aid.”

The traffic police organised a bypass route near the accidents at M-53 highway.
