It took three teams of energy workers several hours to fix the failure

KRASNOYARSK, March 10 (Itar-Tass) – Energy supplies in Hakasiya’s capital city, Abakan, have been resumed, press service of the regional branch of EMERCOM reported.

It took three teams of energy workers several hours to fix the failure.

“We have provided independent energy sources to ten medical facilities, organised smooth electricity supplies, thus no medical equipment has failed,” the source said. “House maintenance services report that stopped elevators have not affected the residents.”

“Presently, Abakan’s electricity lines have been restored almost fully,” the source continued. “We do not forecast an unfavourable development of the current situation.”

About 80,000 residents in Hakasiya’s Abakan remained without electricity, caused by the wind, which speed reached 27 metres a second. The failures happened in the city’s central districts and in several suburban parts.
