Gas bottle explosion injures eight in Sverdlovsk region

All the injured had been taken to the city’s hospital

YEKATERINBURG, March 10 (Itar-Tass) – Eight people got injured by an explosion of a bas bottle in a private house in Revda city, the Sverdlovsk region.

Among the injured are two doctors of the emergency brigade, two police, a five year-old and three adults who lived in the house, head of the regional police press service Valery Gorelykh told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

He said that all the injured had been taken to the city’s hospital. Three fire brigades are working on the site.

The information about the explosion came to the dispatch service at 10 in the morning /08:00 Moscow time/. The first to arrive to the scene were the police, who began evacuating people from the burning house. At that time an emergency car came, and the gas bottle exploded as the doctors were approaching the house.
