Pipeline failure leaves without cold water 10 thousand in Khabarovsk Territory

The repairing works are planned to be finalised within Sunday

VLADIVOSTOK, March 10 (Itar-Tass) – A pipeline failure in the Khabarovsk Territory’s Nekrasovka settlement has stopped cold water supplies there. The water is not transported to 192 houses, where 9,600 live, including 1,748 children.

Cold water supplies are stopped also to two schools, two kindergartens, an orphanage and a hospital, press service of the regional branch of Russia’s EMERCOM reported on Sunday.

The maintenance team includes nine technicians and five specialised vehicles. For the time being, water is brought to the settlement by four tank cars.

The repairing works are planned to be finalised within Sunday.
